Mortgage loan modification scam warnings for Nevada residents

For those looking for relief on their mortgages, it’s hard to know who to trust.  Here’s some good consumer advocacy information on the most obvious scams.  Without question, you should only employ an attorney to engage in loan modification negotiations on your behalf.  And you should not pay any money up front without proof that it is being deposited into a special trust account, and not the company’s normal business checking account.
